TAW is a Cr-Mo-V high-alloy hot work tool steel produced through optimized alloy composition design and advanced manufacturing processes. Key non-ferrous metal tungsten is added via alloy optimization; tungsten features a high melting point, high hardness, high density, and excellent thermal conductivity, and is widely used in high-end manufacturing fields such as machinery, energy extraction, and photovoltaic power generation. Adding an appropriate amount of tungsten can appropriately increase mold hardness (+2 HRC), and high hardness can slow down the occurrence of thermal cracking, thereby significantly extending mold service life.
It is suitable for long-life designed die-casting, hot forming, and extrusion dies for non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, magnesium, and copper, as well as long-life designed, high-demand precision forging dies, warm forging dies, hot forging dies, and others.
