SWQH13

ProductIntroduction

SWQH13, as a high-grade hot work die steel, is suitable for hot work mold applications with high requirements for service life and wear resistance, while pursuing cost-effectiveness. Its core competitive advantages are high wear resistance, good hot cracking resistance, and excellent cost performance.

Product Feature

High wear resistance: Increased carbon and vanadium content forms more MC-type carbides, making it suitable for "soldering" conditions in aluminum alloy die-casting.
Good hot-cracking resistance: Electroslag refining process reduces impurities and crack initiation points, enabling it to withstand repeated thermal cycling between 200~600°C.
Excellent hardenability: Fully hardenable in sections below 200mm, suitable for manufacturing large molds.
Good machinability: Annealed hardness ≤229HB, allowing conventional machining such as turning, milling, and grinding.
