SKD11

ProductIntroduction

SKD11 is a widely used high-carbon, high-chromium cold work die steel. As a ledeburite steel, it features high hardenability, high hardness after quenching, and excellent wear resistance. It exhibits good high-temperature oxidation resistance, favorable corrosion resistance after quenching and polishing, and minimal heat treatment distortion. It is suitable for applications requiring high wear resistance and dimensional stability, such as cold stamping and shearing.

Product Feature

Extremely high wear resistance and compressive strength
Excellent dimensional stability after heat treatment
Good machinability (achieved by spheroidizing annealing softening treatment)
Balanced surface hardness and matrix toughness
Excellent resistance to temper softening
